I am really torn between teh WS6 adn the Raptor hood, so I figure why not get the best of both worlds. The only thing I dont like about the hood is that it seems like its "all down the middle" if that makes sense? I still like it though. So, if you have one, please tell me how the quality, fit, and finish of it was and did it take much prep to make it look good and fit right, or does it still not fit right? Also, link or post some pics, especially if you have a red 'bird with it. I'll take any color though <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0"> Thanks for any help.

Trans Am WS6 RGS

I dont have the SLP Ram Air H.O Hood but my girlfriend does. The overall quality and fit of the hood is pretty good. The only part that doesnt seem just right is right aboce the driver side pop up light. You can barely notice it (well others wont notice it but you of course will). It didnt require much prep before getting it painted. The hood look awsoem on her car and for a minute I even though about getting it for my car, just for a minute though. I'll try to email you some pics of it. Her car is black though.

Cool,I know Ive seen a guy on LS1.com with a red T/A and the SLP H.O. hood. I really like the WS6 hood but dont want to have to buy the real deal when Ive heard about it being sooo much (Ive heard $1200 before). I still might try to get it, but with the H.O. hood being so much cheaper I figure Id check it out. Email in signature (I think) and if not InfinityGuru@aol.com

hey i got the H.O. hood on the trans am i just bought everyone i show, no one can even tell it aint factory ive had ppl who thought it was a factory hood.it lines up perfect so i would suggest it .

I also have the h.o. hood and mine fit great, no problems here. I think its the meanest looking firebird/trans am hood out there,plus it's different.

i dont know whats worse the fact that i started to reply to this thread to be helpful then i caught the 05 revival, or the fact that i have this hood and dont understand why everyone hates it so much, then again people probably dont like my front bumper either
