id have to see it done in real life or done for real in a picture before giving my opinion. personally i think i would just stick with the stock rear though.

Why not try it with the regular T/A bumper and just fill in the openings for the exhaust and open the center up and move the license plate up like in that 1 photoshop??? You could still do the regular CETA mod.

Idk just a thought, but i think it could look good if done right.

I was goin to post up about my run in with another fbody the other night but I found this thread so here I am haha.

I was out in the bad boy about three nights ago and I see another fbody up ahead of me so of course im curious to see what im dealing with so I get closer. First I notice its a firebird/formula body(can tell by the lower spoiler and rear bumper). Second I look for exhaust to see if its an firebird or a formula. Its dark out so I get closer and my jaw dropped in disbelief. This poor car needs a new owner. It had a stock rear firebird bumper and right below the license plate was a dual tip like you get at auto zone. It looked really really bad, and to top it off you could see the exhaust pipe run over to the tip in the opening for the exhaust on the passenger side of the bumper. I took a pic on my camera phone but it didnt come out good enough to really see it other than a little shiney glare of the tip.

So sorry guys you arent the first ones to think of it lol

That was my first thought when I saw this thread. I had wondered if anyone thought of using that bumper for a cme.

I wouldn't do a mod like this to my car, but I can appreciate what's going on here. Someone has to think outside the box or we'll never have anything new. Us pontiac guys can't do much as far as appearance, but I think the cars look pretty good from the factory.

But thats all I can say. The photoshop looks alright. It was late at night for me, I think 4AM or so, so I was bored.

Obviously its WAY too much effort to rip off a camaro bumper and attempt to put it on a Trans Am. So I did it purely out of boredom.

But I think it's unnecessary to say "FAIL" and put a puking smiley. If you really want to comment, post some constructive criticism.
**** i say do it. Youll be the only one with this bumper. I like the front end of the firebirds but now you dont have to choose which way you park because you can impress anyone with either side.

I was just kidding around man. I didnt think the CME part looked too bad, but the whole license plate part is the thing that I didnt like about it.

Sorry if I sounded like a dick, I didnt mean too.. Thats why I included the "" to try to lighten up the post.

Photoshop the CME tips at the same exact spot that those tips in the pic above are located at. They arent to low and would probably look awhole lot better. Plus you could still keep the License Plate right above it.

Yeah but thats for drag cars so the opening is going to be way to big and the entire thing replaces the whole rear end.

lol my car is being used for all this
I'll try to get to the corsa clone photoshop tomorrow, i'm exhausted.
But ya see, all it took was a little time to get a good idea drawn out. No need for people to go nuts!
