Default Anybody got a sequential shift light set up?

Like 3 lights, each 200rpms of difference. I want the touring car look. Green, yellow & red (in that order) set up for 5400-5600-5800 or something like that. It would look sweet as hell. and escpecially in a firebirds AC vents! One in each!

Does anybody make one? One with full size lights, not single 3mm wide LED's mounted on a panel.

Hey harlan, you up for it? (i wanna be the 1st with a harlan seq light ) Or should i just get 3 seperate ones from you?

Thanx for the links Crazyquik. But i was looking for something larger than the small led's.

I guess i'll have to go with a triple harlan setup.

I did this, with a couple of used harlan lights, then just made my own LED display. It turnd out OK but might try for an improved display as my yellow leds could be brighter.

Dave, are the led's still in the tubes or are you saying that you made your own display/panel for the led's? I gotta check it out some time. where detroit are you. Are you an MM member?

harlan, what would work best; 3 seperate tubes with seperate wiring, or a custom setup with one set of "brains" and a panel with the led's?

I think I like the idea of having the triple tubes set up. Probably mounted above the left-center AC vent just below where the cut is for the defroster on a custom made mount (made of what, i dunno yet) angled up slightly and towards the driver. What do you think? I think i gotta show you in person its confusing to explain.

Do you think it will be too bright? My interior will light up like a christmas tree above 5500! lol

oh and harlan this magical setup has to be in the car before the road course event

We have had these for a little over a year now, neat little setup, and very adjustable. price has been lowered to 159.

I was considering those Lou, but they arent what i'm looking for. They would be great for knowing when to downshift on a road course, but they are just to F1-ish. And i cant stand F1. I just think my triple tube idea will look kick ***!

thanx though, and good luck for SCCA trans am next year. When is trans am gonna get some live coverage???

Were you talking about IROC at ALMS? Or SCCA Trans AM?

Iroc is oval racing with pontiac trans ams(stock cars)

SCCA Trans AM is the name of the series in which there are many different makes and models racing on road course tracks.

I have seen both, IROC at Michigan Speedway and The scca trans am series on Belle Isle during the CART weekend. Both exellent racing!
