Like I said above, the valve covers are not finished. The holes are for the bolts. In these pictures, they are just sitting on the heads. I still have some sanding and filling to do on them before they get the same paint as the intake.

The reason the coils were mounted in back is to similate the distributor in back of the motor with the plug wires running forward. This was the closest I could get. Mounting any thing on the shock towers interferes with closing the hood and the hood struts.

Thanks for the compliments!

Looks good Todd. I've been meaning to ask you about the paint you used for the inner fenders. Is it from a spray can, or did you hit it with a spray gun/air compressor setup? Also, what brand paint did you use? Thanks!

Jim

I'd get some custom valve covers.

Looks good.

If I had some extra money, I'd get some of those polished ESP covers, but I am broke. I am trying to scrape together enough for a converter right now. I figure I can upgrade the valve covers when I have some spare money. For now, they will just get the paint treatment.

That is a REALLY clean looking setup. Excellent work!!!

Too many times you see cars that go overboard with one particular color but, yours is balanced very well.

PS - What type of converter are you looking for? I might be able to help you out some. PM being sent.
