Default Color scheme for my Camaro?

Hey guys, I know this is the LS1 forums, but this is just a thread asking your opinion on the looks of my car.

Alright, I'm having trouble choosing a color scheme for my 2000 Bright Red (hardtop red too) Camaro. There are two options that I am looking at.

One, is an all red sleeper look. I will have the SS Hood, SS spoiler, and some zo6 chrome rims, with a chrome billet grille.

Or, I was thinking a red and black scheme. I would have a red SS hood with the black decal in between the fang-like-things, a red SS spoiler, black medium gloss black berger panel, black billet grille, and black zo6 rims with the chrome lip.

I was wandering if you guys could just give me your opinions and let me know what you guys think would look the best.

Lots of people do red and black and lots of people do red (by not touching anything on their car) haha. Go with what you like. You can see my red and black scheme in my sig.

Personally, all red seems washed out and too much for me. I like how the black breaks it up.

See the difference with yours is that its got the black top, and you have chrome rims. I like the way your car looks, very tasteful man.

That's true about the black top. You could do the manta stripe all the way down if you like it???

nah, the only way I would paint the manta is if I also put the decal in between the fangs, ive seen that before and it looks pretty cool.

definately should look sweet either way, im kinda partial to red and black though... the slp bowtie grille would go great with the combination of the colors too. and also you can paint the calipers red with a clear coat and that really touches up the appearance of the car, and a window tint will also make it look better.

This is my black/red

Hood is a 4" cowl, new design. Doesn't have the flat straight up sides. Gloss back panel (my car is not a Berger, so I'm not doing it flat black). I also painted the stock grill gloss black and used vinyl chrome inlays. The inlays on the rear are the metal stainless steel kind.

You might want to have whichever shop is painting your hood quote you on doing the sail panel and the roof painted black, that might help. I like Lucas' setup, mainly because it was my idea! (at least the center manta decal, the rest was all him). The only thing I'd change on his is do Whistler headlights and MAYBE smoke corners, but I'm not sure how the corners would go with his wheels. I say do something similar.
