Great job with the powdercoating. I did the same thing to mine and got flamed for it because I didn't get them turned. I just braked hard a few times and it wore it off with no problems! I think both look great!

I sort of did the same thing but I wanted mine "painted" in the holes and slots so they wouldnt rust. So I had them powder coated and turned. I figured the powder coating should last longer than the paint.
I posted write up about it in the Appearence Section but here is a basic run down of what I did:
Here they are all black
On the lathe getting turned down enough to take the coating off the surface where the pads will touch:
And the finished product...best part no more rust!

Looks good dude! Don't worry, rattle cans never come out 100% perfect, but it still looks damn sweet. Get the car outside and take some pics without the flash, the flash shows all the dirt and makes everything look weird. Ask me how I know
