that is a sweet car. I had never heard of a 4thGen Z28/SS until earlier tonight. Was looking at another thread on here and someone was talking about it being a rare option for the LT1's from a couple different years

there are plenty of SS LT1's.... but the fact that that is 1 of 3... is pretty impressive... and I have never heard of a Dale E. Edition Camaro

I don't know why you would think that. If you look at the ebay auction you can clearly see original documentation.

That's funny I saw the car at the dealer a long long time ago, it was protected like a mint. Their was another one that wasn't an SS that had hounds tooth interior.

Aren't all SSs Z28/SSs? You have to have the Z28 RPO code to get the SS package...right? Also I though all LT1 SS were marketed as Z28 SSs. (I very well could be wrong though.) If thats the case all this car is is a SS thats had a bunch of dealer installed crap put on it...its not a true GM low production car. It maybe worth a little more to a Earnhardt nut with money, but no where near the asking price.

It even says in the auction its 1 of 3 modified by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet or what ever. And all LT1 SSs were SS Z28s...so nothing exceptional here IMO (unless your willing to pay $40K extra for some stickers and ground effects!)
