little shizzle for the rizzle... we took my old ls6 intake and painted it up for hunter98ta this weekend, we tried out the dupli color chromalusion paint kit. works pretty good.
Looks MUCH MUCH better in person!!! Changes from green to blue to purple, but hard to tell in a pic...

Did you sand down all the casting, etc on the intake?
no, but you could if one were inclined to do so.
i had mine painted pewter and you never even noticed the casting on it, people just looked at it and said thats not original.
so this one has alot of clear on it and then i scuffed the pewter paint up some before we sprayed it with the chromeillusion on it, you can barely see anything.

if it wasnt a damn 98 car, i would take the coil packs off and paint the valve covers something, but fukk that crap on a 98!
