Ok, do I need a line lock...
... if i'm going to be running ET Streets? Money is very tight for me (college student), and I need to save everything possible for a TNT kit. I need to beat a local mustang (rivalry), and need to save every little bit! Thanks!

Hmm, well, maybe i'll make that my last winter mod. I think I can do the shuffle fairly well. The TNT kit is more important right now, we'll see how much money is left over. Thanks.

You'll have to get the ET streets hot. How good are you at doing the "Clutch-Brake shuffle" during a burnout?. If you're good at it...hold off on getting the Line lock. Although be warned, you will be killing your rear brakes, thus requiring a brake job before long. To me it was easier to drop the $150 on the Linelock that it was to replace my brakes (and risk frying my clutch with the other method). Basically it's "Pay now or pay later". Your choice.
