Default I NEED PICS OF GRAND SPORT OFFSET 11"ZR-1'S WITH 315'S FROM THE REAR!

Anyone have any pics from them on their car from the rear? I have to make sure that the tires arent sticking out of the fenderwell. They are not supposed to with the grandsport offset i know, however i need some pics! Email me or post please, as I am looking to buy soon. Thanks

On mine, they stick out maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch (I have 17x11 ZR1s, GS offset, and Nitto 315/35/17 DRs)- this is about as good as you can do for fitting a 315 width on the back. If you flare your wheelwell slightly, then this is gone. Can't get you a picture right now, unfortunately - digital camera not available till Dec. 26th

Unless there is some legal reason not to do this, then I would go this route. The street hooking can be awesome.

So in your words is it really noticable?? I dont like that look where the tires stick out on both sides blah. Rolling the fenders and easy task at home with a hair dryer, hands and a careful eye? or is it to be done by a body shop. Thanks

Oh and wont modifying/cutting your bumpstop pull the wheel/tire in further towards the center tof the vehicle? Did you do this and still have them stick out 1/4-1/2"?

Thanks

I don't think it is noticeable at all. It just looks outright badda$$ in my opinion. In other words, it looks both classy and mean at the same time

I am actually going to be working on the bumpstop later today, not so much as to bring the tires in as it is too improve clearance a little. For the bodywork, I would recommend that you get someone who knows what they are doing to do it if you really want that. Unless you are really, really picky, I do not think it is needed.

I should add a little more detail here - I was just out looking at my ZR1s. They do not stick out at all when viewed from straight above - the sticking out is with respect to the rear wheelwell (i.e., when viewed from behind and not above). Honestly, it does not look like a "stick-out" when viewed from any angle.

Check out my webpage in the sig.

Click on the "pics" link near the bottom and then scroll to the bottom of that page. Those are pictures with Granatelli lowering springs and ZR1 17x11 rims in the rear with the GS offset. They look amazing!!

umm, careful. The body shape of the Firebird will allow a little more offset than a Camaro.

I run ZR1 offset on the back of my Formula. They fit like a GLOVE!
