X2! And I would ask to get them anodized black. I think I can speak for the majority that under our hood is usualy dusty. Altough once a month or before a show we clean it. Therefor, I would prefer caps that do not look out of place rather if under the hood is dirty or clean. This is why I would prefer a knurled side or machine finish.

That would be cool but would be impossible to keep the price down with all the time and money that would go into designing something like that...

Had a loooong work day; I'm posting from the shop! Machine finish and Polished Machine finish should be available by tomorrow Show Polished and Black Anodized should be available a week later.
