You should do it IMO
Plus, it makes the front end look more aggressive, especially with a black powdercoated grille (billet style)

, new catback, remove front license plate bracket (if that is not a law problem in your area), paint door handles to match body color, paint side mirrors gloss black, ditch the step bar thing on each side (if that's not a problem for family members), and remove that little sticker on the bed cover....just some random ideasHa! and a new gauge overlay, which you can make yourself!

I was going to say whistler headlights, shorter antenna and red tint (or red translucent paint) the white part of the tail lights for a cleaner look... The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

Don't flame me, its only MY opinion.

How does this sound:
Tinted tails, Whistler style headlights, 2.5" leveling lift in the front, off-road tires with all black off-road style wheels, billit grill, black tint on all windows, & the color matched door handles, mirrors, & bumpers, keep emblems & foot steps. Also the wood grain & gauge cluster from the Lariat package on the interior. I would like to get rid of the steps, but I also want my wife & kids to be able to get into the truck aswell, (wife is 4'10" tall
).Your thoughts?

Go with a 1.5in at most. Plus 2.5 on a 2wd will make the front end higher than the back....1.5in will be about perfectly level.
Also the Lariat gauges would be fine, but the Lariat wood trim on the dash will not fit. Your truck has manual AC controls and the Lariat has digital climate control...which is shaped total different. So that piece will not swap out.
Something else you should look into is swapping out the center jump seat for a console (unless you need the seat.) You would need a console for a XLT (Lariats have floor shifters) but the swap is very easy.
f150online.com is to the ford truck world what ls1tech is to us....hang out there for a while.

Thanks for all the info.
I do want the truck to sit level, but all I found online was a 2.5" lift, so I just assumed that was what it took.
Did not even notice the AC controles being differant, Its a good thing I hadden't gotten my heart set on the wood trim.
Carbon Fiber trim from a FX4 would work though...
