the mounting brackets suck, use stock one's.

you need to pull them apart and rewire so you can hook up led's and halos seperately.

and also, the parking lights and rear marker lights don't look bad, but stock ones sanded smooth and vht'd look a lot better.

I have seen them in chrome on a camaro, looked cool, i like the single halo look.

the housing look extremely tacky in daylight... too many ridges and random leds..

I dont know In my opinion I hate halos. Not meant for our cars. But to each is own. Just whistler mod if you want that black look.

Is there some kind of filler that would hold up to the heat of the headlights if someone wanted to smooth out the ridges and delete the leds?

you can just not hook them up.. there are some that are very similar to these on ebay.. they dont have the LEDs..

That would be what Im looking for. I just want a projector for the HIDs without looking funky/ricey.

i agree do the whistler mod... The only reason i have the halo's on my car is cause they came on the car and i have been to cheap to by the oem's..

It is a paint for tinting out tail lights, head lights, ect. Spray can, just a couple of light coats and it looks great. Search, there are some bad *** pictures around here with VHT'd tails.
