Thanks again for positive feedback. Showed it today in another show in South Carolina and had several ask about them and the LS1 engine. Did my research, explained it and no problems. Even won a trophy Thanks again guys!

Kicks, don't mean to hijack or anything, just wanted to show "others" that no matter what color theme is chosen (red, black...), if done right, it will look clean. I'm glad it worked for ya! Just show'n I gotcha back.

Well you know...I dont see why is so wrong. Dont a lot of fbodies roll around with Vette styled wheels? Since cars have been customized the mixing of a lot of parts into one ride has been accepted.

FYI, my post was not necessarily made to be negative.
In fact, I helped make product in that engine bay that flows with the layout.
So don't relate my username to the flamin' wars!
In my opinion, I just thought the 'Chevrolet' old style valve cover artwork would be nice if they offered that too.

It's amazing how many stupid people out there don't realize that in '98, not only did some Z28s get THE corvette LS1, but a little tweaking, can get the stock Z28 up to Corvette specs. Again, as time and again it's been stated...98 was the first year the Camaro was given the same LS1 engine that the Corvettes were given. Small changes that gace the Corvette's a little more power (to retain Corvette sales) that could easily be corrected to reverse the power that was taken away for use in the Camaro. It's the same engine used in the 98 Corvettes. And its still used in a GM vehicle.
No, you'd probably put MY GAY *** USES IMPORTED PARTS FOR MY GM MUSCLE. Kiss our *** mutherphukar! How many times do we hear congrats for ANY f-bodies running with Vette-style wheels, seats, etc.
You Do Not Have A Corvette There, Btw.I would NEVER put CORVETTE on my TRANS-AM...

I put a Corvette Magnacharger in my previous 2000 SS (see link in sig) its not a Z28/SS part is that gay too?
They look good, not my cup of tea but thier not bad. Border line though with so much red, the internet though makes it hard to really judge the look of something like that, prolly looks killer in person. Replace your hardware with stainless steel hardware from stainless specialist (i think that is right) and add alittle billet to help break it up a bit (K tech pulley and something for the PS pulley would make it really pop). It will help break it up a bit, maybe the wire hide mod too if you do not mind cutting your car. Much more red though and IMO it will push it over the top. I am more of a performance guy then apperance guy but I still like it.

Sorry about the mean comments up top!! After looking at it several more times it did start to grow on me and it doesn't look half bad. Not something I would do but as you stated before to each his own!! I can appreciate your artistic outlook and original styling of your car. Good job!!

Thanks, I understand that some like FRC's and some don't. I really never wanted to do it until i saw the ones thecobrahunter had. Just liked them cause they were different. Thanks for the comments, good and bad. I have done some performance stuff also but can't afford to drag and tear things up. I do wish I had one to drag and really play with. Maybe my next one

I really don't see why your being flamed for this. It doesn't look bad. Would I go this route no but thats why its your car and your happy. The only advice if I were you would to use continuity with the different eras of font. You have 80s style chevy emblem, old school corvette, and new school z28! People were to busy typing how much they hate your engine bay and not looking at all the stuff you have going on under there. Just trying to help and give my opinion. Good luck with the car.
