Default Installing T/A Seats

I've tried searching and I can't find anything other then T/A seats for sale. I thought it was pretty commen to put T/A seats in other F Bodys. Anyway I have a Formula with the 6 way power leather seats. How hard is it to install the 8 way Leathers?

It's probably as difficult you make it... What's involved is sliding the seat forward, undoing the back frame bolts, then sliding the seat back and undoing the front frame bolts, then disconnecting the power plug underneath and lifting it off the tracks... Assuming you have the seatbelt hardware disconnected.

However, I haven't done it and this is just going off of what I've read elsewhere - which could quite possibly be wrong. May want to take a look at other TA's if nobody here replies... I'd like to switch to these TA seats as well.

Oh, I should have clarified. I know how to take the seats out, I do that just to clean underneath them. I'm looking at something along the lines of the power hook up which if I remember correctly looks the same. Problem is the Pass. side plug. I wonder if it's hidden underneath the carpet. Also is there some tubing that runs between the seats for the lumber?

K, you're talking about the lumbar support seats. You're gonna have to pull the carpet up, run your wiring/tubing over to the pass side, then put the carpet back down after that, it's should be just like an oil change...easy!!

I did it!

Other than the seats them selves, this is the next important part:

I found them on Craigslist. Damn near new, car was wrecked with 7k miles and these seats have been in storage for 8 years. They look like brand new and there isn't a single crease, mark, or spot of wear on them. Not bad for 100 bucks.
