Considering 93-96 tail lights....
Did a quick photoshop of my car with LT1 tailights. What do you guys think?
Anyone know where else I could pick these up for cheap, besides Ebay?

RUSSH,
I did the same thing!.

I hated the contrast of the yellow and pewter and of course the lines of the Amber Taillights do not match any of the lines of the car. The Colors are just thrown together disjoined. aack..
There's a little work involved to wire them up but it's not hard at all and I can send you the info. Another Cool thing is the factory LT1 brake lights only light up the inner most bulb of the taillights (sorta like the ones you have already). With the MOD I can send you.. the Entire Tailight will light up when you hit the brakes.. It looks Great, not to mention how cool these taillights look at night with the parking lamps running.. The entire Housing is lit and not just that one little slice..

Yes there's no problem having an all red taillight. My 2003 Ranger has all red taillights and I know many of the Lincoln Mercury cars in the last 10 years had all red taillights, which was one of the few differences between the Ford cars and Mercury.
I have been thinking about this mod for a while too. I don't like the lines of the stock lights either. I always liked the export lights (Steven) but these LT1 lights are MUCH cheaper!

I did this mod on my car 1-year ago, and have been happy ever since. I like the way the outline of the back-up lights flows with the contours of the deck lid. I also like the simple look of LT-1 design verses the later style tail lamps.
I found my LT-1 tail lamps on E-Bay for less than $100.00, and the install was pretty easy. The only modification involved was using a dremel moto tool to cut a small amount of material around the light socket openings.

I would never put those clear tailights on any of my cars.
