I wouldn't do it...this is what happened to my friends car after he did the wire mod. He cut the hole too big and the front end collapsed while going down the highway.

Wow, really!?! How big did he cut the hole? I did it to my Z28 a long time ago and never had issues...

You only have to cut one hole, and no it doesnt effect the structural strength at all. In fact LT1s have a simular hole from the factory on the drivers side to run the fuel lines through.

Just get some small vacume hose line and make your own...it actually works better.

I just did this on Cecilia's car...its a LT1 so it there was a lot more to do but it looks great. A 2hr job thats free and inproves the looks more than most $1000 mods!
