Default 4L60E Hard Line Question

Using an LM4/4L60E combo in a swap and bypassing the radiator cooler to a B&M Supecooler. My plan is to use the hard line out of the tranny, cut them about under the starter, use compression/-6AN adaptors, then -6AN Parker Push-lok to the cooler and back. I screwed the hard line fittings into the case, tightened them, pushed the black plastic rings(?) on and even with the fittings tight, the hard lines pretty much flop around.

I have visions of geysers coming out the side of the tranny on startup Have not gotten used to these new types of fittings, but is that normal? I was told by a GM tech that those fittings require no thread sealant, tape or o-ring which tells me it is not pipe thread. While doing searching, I ran across a thread that said it was. MOF, even the threads in a TH400 case is not NPT. It is some other weird xPT but everyone uses NPT. Might be why there are so many reports of cracked cases.

TIA

i sort of answered this in another thread-i think the fittings in the trans are 1/4-18 npsm pipe, straight thread-their diff than tapered pipe thread
ATI Performance has the fittings, #6 an to 1/4-18 straight, #925137
i have used them in turbo 400's, it looks like my 4l80e has the same threads
except the rear fitting has a tube on it, i might be able to modify and add a tube to the ATI fitting

they will fit if your thread is 1/4-18 STRAIGHT thread, which most are-the 4l80e takes a fitting with a tube on it, which is what im gonna try and make out of one
i ck'ed my 4l80e today, seems to be 1/4-18 thread, so i assume the 4l60 is also-
ATI is right up the street from me, so im gonna go grab a couple
