Wanting more 60ft and mph but want to keep 3.23s and a little drivability. What do you guys think would be best? Heads are in near future and maybe bigger cam. Im thinking PT4200 or TCS4200. If anyone has this combo, What are your results?
I had the YTP 4000 with 3.23s and it worked good but was loose. Your lighter weight and a little programming would make it livable. 3.23s actually made the converter easy to launch hard on the street.
i like my vig3600 with 3.23's
i never tried a idle flash which is what works best on this verter. Leaving at around 1800 with a slight roll and punch throttle to save the rear she pulled a 1.55 cam only. Im sure with more runs she would saw some 1.51-2's maybe. I made 4 passes oneday.. 3 had the same 1800 roll launch and they were 1.55, 1.56, and 1.56. Tried to hit the tires WOT from 1800 and i only saw a 1.66 spinnin
with heads and if my rear holds Im 100% certain she could pull a 1.4!! IFFFF the rear lets her
if you wanna try something different, go for the 4200 stalls out there... yank or TCS
there shouldnt be a big difference in the daily driving feelin since you are use to a stall. If anything you would like the looseness more

Both of the 4200 converters you mention are really good choices. I have the Yank 4200 with heads/cam 3.23 full race weight high 1.5 sixtys with some wheelspin on the ET streets.
