Default shift extension question

Hypothetically speaking.. if you have an '02 z28 with a hotcam, 2.73's, and a vig 3600. . what is normal for shift extensions?

If it drops down to 4800 each time.. is that normal? I thought I remembered reading peoples' shifts at like 5200 with this 'verter.

Or is there a setting in edit where you can actually change that? (I can't imagine so, or else there'd be no point in getting a higher stall'd converter, because you could adjust it from edit? ..which doesn't make sense)

Thanks.

Yeah you cant adjust it, maybe raise your shift points which in turn would raise the shift extension. But thats hard to say because there are so many factors.

Thanks. 4800 isn't bad by any means, right?

Have you disabled Torque Management in the PCM? When I was running the 4L60E, with torque management, the rpm would drop more due to the reduced power on the upshift. If you have Edit, try that and see if it makes a difference. For me it was about 200-300 rpm lower with torque managment at the stock settings.
