Default Transmission Coolers with Fans

Do all transmission coolers come with a Temp sensor to stop the fan when tempretures are right? or are some of them manual?!

and which ones do you prefer, the Plate type with Fan or Fin type with fan?

or do you prefer without a fan all together...?!

Thanks

I have mine wired up to turn on as soon as the key is on. Then I have a fuse for it that is easily accessible. Basically, I pull the fuse until the trans is up to operating temp, then let the fan run all the time.

FWIW-->I have my trans cooler mounted under the rear bumper

I'll get you some pics. I actually really like it there! Clears up alot of room in the front of the car. I'd recommend it to anyone, as it doesn't make the car any less streetable. If i were to DD the car, I'd just install a manual switch to turn on and off the fans. It's just simpler for me to use the fuse....ok, actually i'm just lazy, hahaha
