I got my cmotorsports (fbodytrans.com) transmission installed on thursday...wow. I had no idea how bad my stock one was slipping on spray. Third gear always felt REALLY weak when I would spray, but I just thought it was lack of power. It wasn't...I guess it was the transmission. Third gear pulls like second did on my stock transmission. It's crazy, I'm in shock. I actually like my car again

I just want to say thanks to the guys at cmotorsports.com for the great service and awesome transmission. I can't wait to take it to the track now. I was afraid to spray on the ET Street's before....now I'm not

 

Good to hear! Question is, how bad did the fluid look in your stock trans? Was there sludge, metal, or burned fluid? I ask because I'm wondering if you had to send your TC in to be flushed and inspected or not...

 

It was all brown, smelled like a burnt clutch. They (cmotorsports) told me to flush the converter, so I had the shop doing the install do it for me.

 

keep us posted in how it does. I know there is a fair amount of interest in them from people looking to upgrade.

Which level build did you go with?

I put my Stage I in about 3 weeks ago and have not had any problem. For the price and warranty it's a tough deal to beat.
