fuddle 3600 chattering
fuddle 3600 chattering this freakin converter locks up and if even touch the throttle it chatters. i have to pull it down a gear for it to unlock and sometimes it'll lock right back up and chatter again. any advice? im to the point im ready to just swap my 6spd in it. 98 trans am. futral F6-112 cam, 85mm induction, long tubes. blah blah blah. my vig 3200 didnt do this. and the tranny seems to be fine.
It unfortunately sounds like you have a converter clutch issue happening possible converter clutch failure, My advice don't drive the car! Remove and have the converter checked ASAP if the clutch comes apart it can destroy your transmission

Can you say whether the TCC PWM function
is still active? When my TCI began to slip
it would hoot like crazy on light acceleration,
like cloverleaf ramps etc.
Mine's still working smooth but I've made
sure it has all the TCC pressure it could
want. If this is a recent change in behavior
you might want to pull it before it "changes
some more". Provided that tuning helps
