Default Stall break in

Ok i just got my TCS 4400 installed, and i still have 2.73 for now. When breaking it in are you just not suppposed to brake stall it or go WOT? I haven't done any of the two. I am being easy on it but it takes a lot of RPM to get it going. Somtimes i hit 3000 to 3500 if i am in traffic, is this bad or does it not matter that much as long as i don't brake stall or go WOT. Also i heard to go at least 150miles or till the fluid stays level. Is 150 miles enough?

Dude,

I would just drive it carefully on the way to the track, then LET HER RIP!

I could be a little extreme, so you may want another opinion.

I have the TCS 4200, I called TCS about proper break in. They said take it easy for 100 miles.

Sweet i have 180 miles and i am about to let her rip Also when i am getting on the highway it takes awhile for my converter to lock up and then i am at 60mph,it seems to take it a minute when or two to lock up, is this normal for a big cam and converted car without tuning done yet? Thanks

i have the yank 3600E ,,i got the stall friday morning and i was racing friday night with spray,
i drove it from the shop to the track about 40 miles

The only part that needs to break in really is the lockup clutch.

I gave mine about 1/2 a block to break in before the first WOT, and about 10 more WOT runs on the way home that day. That was 7,000 miles and 3 years ago (I don't drive the car much), no problems since

you really need to do about 100miles of normal driving locking and unlocking the lock up clutch..that's the biggest deal...other than that...on the EXTREME you might take it and have a power flush and fill done just to make sure all is clean after break in. I've done that w/every converter I put in and i've got 110,000 miles on my 4L60 with H/C on the car. Granted the TRANNY is starting to go now..but it still runs...
