By leaving at idle it reduces the heat generated saving your tranny and it will also flash the converter allowing it to stall higher and get the rpm's where the should be.

The 1.59 was only once many other times i run 1.64 spinning slightly. I do want to get a full slick to see if i can cut consisted 1.57-1.58
OR... i could keep the 245 nittos for the sleeper look and buy drag shocks to see what it does.
