Good for you, but I've heard that some pan gaskets are made to be re useable so I'm curious about the GM one.

Never reuse any gaskets if you have the opportunity use fresh ones. If you have it out, look at it and if the rubber portion is flat and flush with the metal portion, toss it and buy a new one.

The 80E pan gasket is reusable the 60e is not
