+1 on 4000. Also look at FTI and Circle D.

I would recommend our 4C stall, rated about 3800-4000. I would suggest it in our Billet Street series, it is $695 with free shipping for Tech members. It has a high STR for great 60's and it drives great on the street. It has a billet clutch for a solid lock up.

do i want a high str? It might be good for launching, but I understood that lower str converters will pull better.

Look at the Yank PT4000 or 4400. It's designed for NA applications, but it's an awesome converter in every way. Drives great on the street, even in a DD, and pulls like an animal on the highway. The 4000 I think has a 2.25 STR and the 4400 is a 2.5. This is my third converter and it will be my last!

I would recomend a SRLS bilet 10" converter set at 4000 stall. This converter has great street manners. Our converters have a three year warranty and we also offer a free stall change to the original purchaser.See this thread for pics and our current saleor give Greg a call at 1-866-726-8358.

I'd suggest a 4000. Higher STR for the launch. Lower STR for a better ET. Lower STR = better efficiency.
