yep dude a stall will do great things for you, also 31-44 or around that is probably your dead spot so for sure dont race from those cuz the car wont downshift...

Yes, but once you have a power adder...

1-2 @ 80 mph
2-3 @ 140 mph
3 = ludicrous speed!

P.S. No such thing as a dead spot on my setup, only spots with temporary traction.

O I bet. I am only pushin 500 na. And I have major traction issues. I couldn't imagine with what you have.

When I roll race I leave it in D not Overdrive and just go.

i hear ya!! i just daily drive everywhere in OD. im trying to everything to not keep shifting from OD to D back to OD. so i just leave it in OD. and it doesnt even kick into OD until it breaks over a certain speed i believe. and even then, i wouldnt be dumb enough to go that fast..lol..

I manually shift every gear, but I am running a 4l80 with manual valve body. No dead spots here, just whistle. haha. Everyone tells me I'm faster with the auto than the m6. It definetly hits harder. Stall fashes, turbo spools, and car hauls ***.

i dont know why anybody would get an auto to roll race, expecially with a stall. if you guys want to roll race then get an m6, if you want to go fast in a quarter get a built and stalled auto! if you have similar modded cars, one being an auto and one being an m6, the m6 will always get the auto from a roll and on the top end. its a different story now from a dig or even a slow enough roll!

F*ck roll racing with autos. Too many dead spots for it to be remotely good. I go from a dig 99.9999999999% of the time and haven't lost very many runs.

yeah but a lot of the turbo 4cyclinders like to do rolls also... i have done a lot of digs and a lot of rolls, and i like both..also dont tell me a stalled auto cant roll race, my car pulls ****** hard from a roll.. a lot of m6 boys have issues with it..

Yeah LOL at some of the uninformed people on this thread. I pretty much only roll race and have yet to lose, to any M6 C5's including Z06's. With a stall it gives you a shift extension, the bigger the stall the bigger the extension. When I drop down to 2nd and floor it there are no dead spots from a roll.

If you try to race a stock-stalled auto you fail. If you had a stalled auto, you wouldn't be talking about sweet spots/dead spots. Nice 2 year old bump BTW

a stall shift kit and a tune will really wake up the car.

but beware, when buying a converter, match it to your set-up and dont forget to get the biggest tranny cooler you can fit in it.
