My TCI shift kit has been real world tested all over the south for about 20000 miles.

Colonel, my friend is having a problem where he doesn't know if the shift kit he bought was even installed i his car. He has an aftermarket Vig 3200 converter so it is hard to tell if it was ever installed. Is there a way to check it without taking out the valve body?

If he can't feel the difference, then it wasn't installed. Even with a 3200 stall (actually 3800 but still...), you can feel the difference with a shift kit (unless you installed both at the same time which would confuse matters.) It should especially be easy to tell on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift at about half throttle or so. It should be very quick and kinda firm.
