I want to install a stall converter on my 2002 camaro. I am thinking about getting the texas speed torquer v2 cam. What do you guys think? And I dont know which stall I need. I want it to be still some what streetable. I dont drive the car but like once a week but I like to take it out cruzing. Also does anyone know what a stall converter will do to my times at the track with out a cam? How much will it help me?

we would recomend a 10" billet SRLS series converter. They have fantastic street manners. The converter has a billet lock-up piston and cover, fully furnace brazed, tig welded, chromemoly hub, etc,These converters are also on sale.https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...sponse.html.We offer many other combinations as well.We are a custom converter builder that builds the utmost in Quality.See what our customers say.https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...onverters.html

I recommend our 4C Street/Strip Billet Series. It is rated 3800 and is the perfect performance converter for a street car. I would guesstimate about 1/2 second reduction in your time, even more after the cam. A converter is one of the best mods for an auto car, puts it in the power-band and makes it fly. Please give me a call at the shop or PM if you have any other questions.
