Default transmissions Temperature

hello

i just rebuild transmission with aftermarket clutch and transgo shift

before
with Flex-a-lite Oil Cooler, 7 1/ 2 in. x 10 in
the Temperature is go around 200f on highway

after
with Flex-a-lite Oil Cooler and torque converter tci breakaway 2200-2400 stall
the Temperature go 230-240f on highway

just rebuild my transmission idon't wont it lost again

so its normal with torque converter or its high
and does i have issue with converter its work well
how to low my transmissions Temperature get bigger cooler

No way should ur tempts get that high even on the highway.....Is this a 4l60e tranny? and are u sure its locking up?

240 is really high for highway cruising.

just try it after 12hours from rebuild

110km/h for 30min and the Temperature not high 190f thats alot of different

my be some dust do that?!

i will check the Temperature for week to see will go high

240 is a bit high , Where are you measuring temp at though? In the pressure port will generally run 20 degrees higher than actual temp. I would get a bigger cooler of course and make sure you have lockup. Where are you located and whats the ambient temperature there?

my car runs max 185 in 100 degree blazing heat sitting in traffic and thats coming from the pan. on the highway 160.

from kuwait and temp. is 21deg c

my car built in trans temp sensor and after 12 from rebuild

110km/h for 30min and the Temperature not high 190f thats alot of different about 45f !! alot of temp change !


my lock up work and have smole issuse on 4th lock and and unlock and lock again some times do my tuner tune many time and thats a best result !
