For boosted guys, like me, I could launch on 5 pounds instead of the 1 pound I get by the foot brake.
For NA, they can load up the convertor closer to the flash stall.
Bottom line is better 60'. Maybe a 1.4x??

Last time I checked, all a manual valvebody did was let you shift your own gears without the computers assistance.

Yeah, that sounds like a trans brake set-up. The
benefit of having a manual valve body is firmer
shifts and full line pressue but that could be a
bad thing.

Hey FLYINZ, it was probably me you talked to up here in Canada about the manual
valve body. My transmission guy at the GM dealer I work at had one fabricated for
me in conjunction with a shop he always deals with. I think I still have your e-mail
address. If you want, I could find out exactly were he got it and pass on the phone
number to whomever it was if you're interested. Just let me know. Keep bugging me
on it if you are. Time is so limited for me right now, but I'll do what I can!

Ask Chuck at FLP he has a local Chicagoan with a 4L60E with a manual valve body rolling around.
Little more fun shifting too.

does the tc lock up still work the same. basicaly it is like shifting your auto but it will hold all gears till shifted.
i have been cusious about this for a while and it made me wonder over here. my friend has a th 350 with revers pat man valve body and a break. i love his setup and would like something similar but dont want to loose the mileage with no od or lock up and also loose the speedo.
Also what are all the options because i do not want to be rebuilding 4l60e's every year. but want to keep the daily driver aspect.
Thanks

Is the FLP unit on the market or is yours a prototype or test unit?
