Have the new crate motor installed and hooked to the transmission. It is a LS1 engine with a 4L60E transmission and a 2000 camero wiring harness. I have all the wires (i think) hooked up correctly and we took the car out for a test drive but it wouldn't shift out of first...? I am stumped here, any ideas or areas i can check before doing a major re-check of everything.

Is the speedometer working? If you dont have a VSS signal the trans will not shift.
