Problem with brand new trans, Need Help!!!!! We installed a brand new FLT level5 trans tonite, Runs great in 1st and 2nd, but slips like crazy as soon as it goes to 3rd.. Could it be something electronic or in the converter is is something wrong in the trans????
(if it make a difference, the trans was installed in a 2000 silverado w/ LQ9 6.0 w/ cam and heads)

I would agree talk with FLT first if there is a problem they will take care of it . Its hard to say what may have happened .

Flt Im not ******* them by any means, just hopping somebody could maybe give us an idea tonite while were still working on it, FLT isnt open now, but were gonna call them first thing.

We have been in contact with the shop that installed the trans. It appears that their's a TPS low voltage problem with PO122 being set. We do have the shop checking into it and will see what they find. Hopefully the trans isn't damaged, unfortunately the TPS is most the important input the pcm looks at for line pressure increase.
