Arrow Crossmember VS. Torque Arm Relocation Kit "TH400"

Just ordered the UMI TH400 crossmember http://www.umiperformance.com/2222?category_id=163 , and would like to know if it worths adding ~70 bucks to get the UMI Torque Arm Relocation Kit+ Torque Arm bushing. http://www.umiperformance.com/2224?category_id=131

I really dont know which one should i get, currently im gonna run the stock torque arm.
Is the crossmember will be just fine from me? or should i replace the order with the Relocation Kit?!

Your gonna need the torque arm relocation kit (since the torque arm can't mount on the tranny like a stock one) unless your using a tunnel mount torque arm. Might wanna change that order...

I'd get the second one you posted. I use the BMR version and I love it

If you get a plain crossmember, you'll have to get a bolt-on part to put in the tailshaft, which is like $80. It's smarter to take the torque arm off the trans anyway, and you may as well do it all in one piece

Hello,

With the TH400 there is no location to mount the torque arm... so the only way to use a torque arm with the TH400 is to A) Use a torque arm relocation kit seen here- www.umiperformance.com/2213 or B) You wouldn't need a relocation kit if you were running a short tunnel mounted torque arm, but since you are using the factory arm you almost need to go with the relocation kit in order to install the torque arm.

I would recommend to upgrade to the relocation kit part #2213. Also since you are using the factory torque arm you need the new polyurethane bushing part #3004

If I can help anymore please ask and I will be glad too. thank you!
Ryan
