trouble changing converters

trouble changing converters well, everything went smoothly up to a point. Bout an hour to an hour and a half in when it was time to take off the converter bolts (this was the last thing holding the tranny on the engine) we had to go buy a t50 torx to fit them. We broke it clean off and not one would budge. Any ideas on how to get them off easier? I appreciate the help. Thanks 
Re: trouble changing converters I have been in your shoes. Question first, Is the T50 torx spinning (stripped)around in the head of the bolt? On my 98 it had metric hex (allen) bolts. I only got one out of the three to come out willingly on the first try. The other two slipped and stripped. I think this happened because it being all cramped and all I didn't get the bit all the way seated to overcome the factory torq seal. I got a scribe and slowly but surely witteled out just enough metal out of the corners of the inside of the bolt head to get the next sized up metric allen drive bit in it. I "tapped," the bit with a small hammer to ensure a better seat and when I honked on em' I tried to give equal pressure in as pressure applied to turning the wratchet. Take a deep breath. You can do this. Don't pull out the back pack nuke and torch/destroy your fly wheel just to get them suckers out. At this point, start tracking down some replacement fasteners (Normal 6pt head). These are not a normal item found in a hardware store. If you need the spec let me know, I have the book.
