Anyone ever installed these. Im putting gears and a converter in the car this week or next week if the parts take to long to get here? How bad was the install? And did was the extra control on the street worth it?

For the control, it's well worth it.

If you're off the ground 3-4 hours. Lift 2-3. Big difference in the way it feels. Night and day!!!

I know you're not refering to me but he's comparing a lift vs working with jack stands.

The only reason to go with that shift kit would be on a transplant with no electronics or if you don't have access to a tuner with a brain !! Other wise the the 4L60 E - 2 Transgo
is all you need !

Its more fun to do it yourself. And theirs no waiting on kick downs. Wasent looking for input other than peoples knowledge and experience with the product.

I believe you will find the installation to be quite involved. There are certain tricks known by the insiders to make the shifts a bit smoother. I would suggest that you befriend someone who has installed TransGo kits and get them to provide at least advice, if not assistance.
You will gain full control on the street. If that is what you seek, you have found the best kit for it.
