rebuild kit advice for 4l60e I think im going to rebuild the one i have, need some advice on what kind of a rebuild kit and what parts i should get. Im planing on procharging the car and i already have a pro yank 3400 to put on it. Thanks
Here is a link to my post about rebuilding my 4l60E from a couple days ago. Im still not sure if i want to take on the task or not. Think i might have the local tranny shop give me a quote. lol. and buying one is pretty damn expensive! So i still dont really know what i want to do. If you decide to rebuild your own please let me know how hard it was and how it turns out!

honestly, if i were in your shoes i would try and let one of the sponsors either FLT, PERFORMABUILT, CIRCLE D try and hook you up. ive read alot of horror stories of guys who think they bought bullet proof parts for there tranny and it breaks again. ive also read up on guys who think they bought a built tranny and breaks within a week. so i would really consider getting your tranny built by people who really know these trannies and have a good track record.
