4000+converter
So my goal is to have a trex cam in my a4 ta. Their webpage says i need a 4000+ converter minimum to do this. Would this make driving really difficult as a daily driver? Or would doing an m6 conversion and start from there be more convenient?
i'm not looking for super smooth ride, but practical is nice.

There are several converters in the 4000+ range that work great for our cars. The Yank SS4000 is an awesome street/strip converter. It's nice and tight for street driving, but offers great performance at the track. It's also nitrous compatible which is really important to some. Or if you're wanting a max effort NA converter, the Yank PT series can't be beat. I swapped my SS4000 for the PT4400 and I've never looked back. This converter is a monster in every way. I enjoy driving it on the street, but it is looser than some would like. Where it really shines is on the topend.....I can't help but grin every time I stab it on the highway. It'll slap you back in that seat and pin you there as long as you care to keep pouring the gas on!
My only experience is with Yank and I've been thrilled with all three of my converters from them. There are other great choices as well (Vig, Circle D), but you'll have to look to others for feedback on them. Bottom line, big converters do just fine for daily driving and really don't give up much. You just have to get used to them.

I have a SS3600(stock cam) but it drives very tight and not much different than stock.... after having it I wish I had a 4000 or bigger but don't want to take the time to remove it and send it off for a restall.
With that big cam, definitely 4000+ and enjoy it!

im running a 3200 stall. and my car is only a daily driver street car, never sees the track. so i wanted something that wouldnt bother me for a daily driver as i wanted to closest feel of stock driving as possible. but after driving my 3200 stall, i think i could have stepped up to atleast a 3600 maybe a 3800. but this 3200 is perfect for me.

We have 2 choices that I would suggest.
"4C" 3800-4000 stall, will put you in the power band and still be very street-able, probably your best choice for performance and street-ability.
"5C" 4200-4400 stall, This thing simply rocks! It's 60's will amaze you, especially with that cam. Street manors are still decent, but you will now it's there.
