Default 4L80E/LT1 - More stall 3600-4000?

I have a H/C LT1 with a 4L80e and a Moser 9" with 4.11's. I am having problems with it bogging coming out of the whole. I could change the gears, but I have a free stall on my Vigilante 3200 w/lockup. So what stall should I go with? The current stall flashes to 3400-3500 out of the hole. I am reving to 6800-7000k and have 26" slicks w/skinnies. Vigilante recommended 3600, but I'm not sure if that is enough.

What if I ran 4.56's and 28" tire? Also might be spraying next year.

What gears are you running now?

You need to decide if you're going to spray. A good NA setup and a good bottle setup are completely different things.
If you're going to spray I would leave the stall as is and go to a 28" tire.

I'm running 4.11's, Vigilante 3200, Moser 9", 4L80E, 26" Hoosiers, 350 LT1, Heads and Cam.

I'd consider the car all motor before a N20 car. I'm not going to run N20 all the time, just once in a while. But I can say it'll be dialed in all motor before I add the spray. It might be 1 or 1.5 years before I add spray if thats how long is takes to get the setup squared away.

A serious setup (especially the converter) that is dialed in for all motor will perform awful on the bottle.
If this is mostly a track car I would run 4000 at least for NA. Run as much gear as you can and still make it through the traps in 3rd.

This item is back on the table. It's getting close to race season again, and I'm thinking about getting the trans rebuild and restalling the Vigilante while it's out.

Same mods as before. Full bolt on's, 3" duals, LT's, CC306, Ported Heads, 4.11's, 4L80E, Currently 26" tires but I need new ones.

Alot of people have been telling me that a 3600 is a good size. My 3200 seems to flash to 3500 or so, but I have video of my car bogging off the line and I need that to stop. 1.98 60's with slicks is pathetic. I'm typically shifting between 6600-7000, I move shift points to try and find the sweet spot. Let's figure on a all motor approach for now.

I don't understand why you think the converter is the cause of the bogging. Are you sure it's not the tune giving you problems?
As far as the restall, I would go with the 3600. Iv'e owned a Vig. and as people say, they do tend to under rated the stall. If you do spray the car the 3600 would probably be more like a 4k. If it's to much and you need a little more rpm to cross the finish line, then you could go with the taller tire. Just my opinion.
