Default expected weight from 4l80 swap

somthing went in my mild built 4l60..might just be the convertor because it still shifts fin just slips a lot when i roll on the throttle.. so i'll be switching to a 4l80 built with T/b and mvb nd yank conv. what kind of weight will i gain? i'll be trying to keep it the weight down to 3200lb for next season to start.

A 4L80E is 178 lbs without converter. About 30-35 lbs heavier than a 4L60E.

I agree, everyone told me I was going to be adding so much weight. In reality it was like 30-40lbs tops.
I ended up with a Fab 9 that weighs the same as my 10-bolt, so in all I'm pretty happy with a top notch drivetrain and roughly the same weight as the factory stuff.
