Trans Brake ????
Hey guys I'm looking into getting a trans brake and would like to know if you could give me some information on how they work. I wanna buy a turbo 350 trans and it has a trans brake and a reverse manual body. Not sure what that means. Any information would help. Thanks.
Tranny brake + neutral = you go in reverse
Tranny brake + sitting still in gear = about the same as having a manual's clutch pushed in..rev it up, release the brake, and hang the hell on
Tranny brake + cruising at 70mph = pole vault the car

A trans brake locks 1st and reverse together, so you can rev the hell out of it in gear and launch like a bat out of hell. A manual valve body means that the transmission no longer shifts automatically, it will hold the gear until you shift it manually. The reverse valve body just makes shifting it manually easier, instead of going P/R/N/D/2/1, it will be something like N/1/2/3 instead, makes it alot easier to shift
