Definitely a lock up if you do any street driving. The only time I suggest a non lock up is for a max effort converter, fuel economy goes out the window though and you need very good cooling. I remove the clutch to save about 4Lbs rotating mass.

A lock up converter is a must have. We offer a billet 10" converter with a billet lock up piston. With our 3600 in a stock f body with just a converter change alone you should see .7-.8 tenths gain. They have great daily driver attitude and will not overheat. Each converter is custom built per customer for their combination.pics and info are available at our website. FTIconverters.com

Thanks,
Greg
