NO GO AT 80mph WTF!!!! My car has absolutely nothing trying to punch it at 80mph. Just cruising, Im fine. WTF, though I've never noticed this before. Is it the 3.23 gears and cause Im an automatic or what?

Re: NO GO AT 80mph WTF!!!! I did have a little problem like this at the same speed and it was because of my shift points. My RPM's would go up but the car wouldn't go too much faster, then it would finally shift and go. I had to take it back to Speed Inc and then they fixed it (They did the org tuning, so I dunno how they messed up in my 1st tune).

I don't mean to get on you but come on. "I punch it and it slows down" ie: If your turning 6k in second and you floor it, then it hits the rev limiter ... This is something to go on!

Re: NO GO AT 80mph WTF!!!! Right on Ron. Chaz, you have had your predator for over year now and you have not changed the shift points or rev limiter? Those are about the most meaninful adjustments you can make with that thing short of having a wideband to do A/F with it. What gives?
Re: NO GO AT 80mph WTF!!!! It sounds like you are saying the car is a dog at 80 and not that anything is wrong. Your car doesn't downshift at 80 mph with 3.23s. You are in 3rd gear at low rpms so the performance blows. A high stall converter will fix that.

Re: NO GO AT 80mph WTF!!!! I figured having a stock cam I really don't need to be changing the REV limiter. Can anyone verify this? Also, why would I need to change the shift points, being internally stock and light bolt-ons wouldn't the factory settings be plenty good. And no TA/30th its not a v6, just like it wasn't a f#*@ing ford. Have u even said anything worth really posting?

When my TA was totally stock: cruising at 80 mph ish with the gear shift in OD position; if I dropped the throttle down some the trans would make an OD-3 shift and the car pulled decent. If I went to WOT the trans would shift down to 2nd, engine revs would twist right up to +6k and I would get a 2-3 shift around 90+ mph.
If I were to be cruising at 80 mph ish with my gear shift in 3rd position; going to WOT my trans would make a 3-2 shift, rev out to rev limiter at 6.2K, 90+ mph and sit there misfiring. ... This was normal for a stock GM setup.
