I have the Vigilante 3200 and really like it. It does take a little getting used to, especially when driving around town. With a looser converter it does take just a little more throttle to get going.

The huge difference is when you put your foot in it the acceleration is much, much faster.

I was a little skeptical at first, but after having it for the last couple months I wish it had been the first mod I did.

Just do it you won't regret it.

Your car is not any slower with a converter. You will use more rpms at part throttle. It feels a little wierd at first, then you get use to it. Now I hate it when I drive a automatic with a low stall because they are dogs off the line.

Your 3.73 gears will help it not feel so wierd.

Think of taking off of the line under normal driving but with a 6 speed, and kind of riding the clutch. it kinda feels like that. I personally like the feel!

Dude just get the PT4000 and get used to it. If you do not plan on spraying go with the 4200 or 4400. Get a trans cooler and haul some a$$. If you are anything like myself and most of the people on here a 3500 is nto gonna be enough So just get the mentioned and only have to do it once.

SY 3500 is a very good choice for street use, especially if you have street tires and do not use drag radials. For track use with good tires the SS3800 would meet your needs.
