Looking into an Ptc converter for my c5
I am searching to see if anyone on the board has ran the ptc converter & what is your experience with it?I Had a yank 3200 in the car when it was a h & c car ,But now the car has 10lbs of boost going to it ,i also took the 3200 yank out & put a 3600 in it & Thats whats in it now ,the problem is it wont lock up , so i am getting rdy to pull this biatch back out & go with something else ,i may have the 3600 rebuilt & Have it reflashed to a 3200 Also the motor is stock block with h& c & an Novi2k @ 10lbs of boost, took it to the Dyno & The car made 540 rwhp @ 4k & Ran out of fuel,Get the fuel system up & Running now the converter wont lock up wtf Its the way of life for a drag racer heh . ,anyone run a Ptc converter ?If so do u like it ?Not Like it

My car had a 3500 PTC in it when i bought it and i just pulled it out about 10 minutes ago to put in a yank ss3600. It worked fine on motor but was very loose. I could foot brake it on the street to 3300 rpm. I removed it because it was either very inneficient or i was blowing through it on top end especially on nitrous. I figured it to have about 22% slip at 6700 rpm on a cam only motor and a 150 shot
