I like to use the factory truck pan or the TCI pan. I have seen many other pans that I just did not care for because the way the filter was supported. Vince

Tci here, I dont think it sits any lower than the headers. I am not lowered and on big speed bumps I dont make it over.

I've got the TCI pan. There are some pretty big speed bumps in the driveway to where I work, and it's been kissed lightly enough to leave a bit of yellow paint on the pan. Otherwise, I think it's a nice pan. Considering the price, though, the factory truck pan is an excellent choice.

Where would one get a factory truck pan and is it deeper? Does it have a drain plug?

Going to do a converter swap here in the next couple of weeks so figured now might be the time but would like a plug.

We get ours from the dealer or a local GM parts supplier here in Chicago. They do not make a pan with a plug anymore. Vince
