Default Looking for converter recomendations

i have a 1993 sonoma that is soon to have a 1995 lt1 in it.
the lt1 has dished speed pro pistons (9.0:1 cr) and a comp 210/220 cam with .533/.533 lift (1.6 rr's), on a 114 lsa. it will also have a nitrous works 175 shot.
the truck has 3.42 gears and 26x9.5 et streets.

i am looking for a 9.5 converter in the 3000-3500 range on launch and close to stock feel with light throttle normal driving around town. this vehicle will see a lot of street driving, some drag strip , and some autocross (with different tires of course).

let me know what converter you have, stall speed, and str. i would also like to know your overall impression of the converter.

thanks
kevin

previous owner went before and i put the stall in first so i can only say his times. it gained about .6 in the quarter but there was way more there bc i was on street tires and it would just destroy them. im working on trying to hook now by making some changes and going with a better tire. so results will come this spring.

I wouold recomend one of our SR series converters.IT would work great with your combo.Heres a link to the webpage on them. They are a great street converter that you can race as well. The part # that you would need is SRGM0086.It has great street manners and loves the jug. http://www.fticonverters.com/convert...CONVERTERS.jpg
