Default Any problems with Yank TP series?

Has anyone ever had any problems with the Yank TP series of converters? I'm thinking of going with a TP4400 after this recent TCS bullshit.

No issues here. I've had a TP-4400 and a TP-4200.

Which did you like better? Any significant looseness or pulling difference?

I once had a TP4600. It was crazy loose for a street car but it totally kicked *** at the track. No problems with it.

The TP-4200 feels tighter, but I had a UT-4600 in between the two, which was WAY loose. IMO for a max N/A 346 setup on a F-body, the TP-4400 is the E ticket track converter.

The TP4400 is the best race/street convertor out there. I've had no problems and nothing but awesome 60 foots with mine.

1.55-1.57 with bolt-ons 3450 raceweight and 3.42's 26X8.5 ET Drag

1.45-1.47 with addition of cam, 4.10's and 3300 raceweight. 26X10 ET drag

The early models with the original kevlar clutches can develop chatter although you can program around it. Mike has changed clutch material so it should no longer be an issue.

Yes I have had problems! The Dang thing cuts these 1.3' 60's using the stock suspenion. It fries my tires when i dont have REAL tires on the car.
It emabarrasses my buds who have INFERIOR converters.

The dang thing TOO good.

Problems? Yea, it makes me feel pity for the competition.
