4L60-E: Unsure of what could have happened??
Well, as some know i have the e30 BMW with 5.3 swap. Well the other day i took the car out, cause its been sitting for awhile. I get on it and then it bounces the limiter, so i just let off and drove normal, call up my local Dyno shop and tell hom i need to get my shift points and what not tuned.
Well we setup a time, and i go out one more time cause he said to check the fluid levels so i took it out to get it warmed up, and do a WOT pull cause the fluids looked fine and maybe it was just that one time, and hits the limiter again.
Well now the tranny shifts to 1st fine, then 2nd, but once it hits a certain rpm or speed it just free revs till i get to a higher rpm and then i catches again but stays in 2nd gear. And doesnt show ANY codes??
I take it, its time for a rebuild.... and the tranny has only 37k miles on it

Unfortunatley sounds like a 3-4 clutch set failure
